Mom-shopping

Last weekend Trevor's mother tried on a few dresses, and his father's girlfriend is itching to do the same. My mom? Not so much. While Ali and Jeanne were anxious to "follow the Mother of the Bride's lead," which apparently is what tradition calls for, my mom is not interested in shopping for an outfit until approximately April.

So Mom, this one's for you. :-) And remember: think beachy-warmweather-fun!

OK, I admit it. I am not ready to think about a dress for the wedding much less start shopping for it. But, I have organized the very important wedding notebook, managed to tastefully spy on a wedding and reception at the Sanderling for the good of future planning, figured out how to add Maggie's colors to the boring flower boxes at the ceremony site, started a top secret wedding idea (soon to be revealed), reserved the wedding venue and a place for the family to stay, talked flowers with the florist and planned and purchased all non-perishable items for an after wedding brunch. And all while being in the middle of helping with two fall weddings. To the other Moms, please feel free to take the shopping lead. Fashion Diva I am not. In fact, buying my dress will probably be the very thing that I will need the most help with. Thanks for the ideas Maggie.

Luckily Maggie is practically a professional shopper, so you'll be in good hands (in April). This was a cute post.
